Sunflower King's Farm started as a field of
sunflowers in 1976,
today we are a certified natural grower of
flowers, herbs and produce.
For the past 30 years no herbicides or
pesticides have been used.
Insect are controlled by
beneficial predators (e.g., Spiders, Lady Beetles,
and Green Lacewings). Weeds are controlled by
flaming and tilling.
Green manure and cover crops are used to improve
soil fertility.
We sell at farmers'
markets. Why? The Earth benefits from not having thousands
of trucks carting
products around the country.
When and where? On Saturdays
7 am to noon
at S Hamilton St in Doylestown, Sundays 9 am to
1 pm at
W Water St in
Hellertown and Wednesdays 4 pm to 7 pm at the
Springtown Firehouse on Rt. 212/412 Springtown, Pa.
